Julie Casey
Attorney at Law
Julie Casey is originally from Ohio, where she pursued her education and developed a passion for helping others through family law. She is dedicated to guiding families through the legal process with care and understanding. Julie believes that truly listening to clients and recognizing their unique needs is essential to achieving the best outcomes in family law cases.
Outside of her legal practice, Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring hiking trails, and relaxing with her cats.

Julie earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Youngstown State University and a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Tim Donaldson
Attorney at Law
Tim Donaldson has been interested in the law since he was a boy in Northern California watching Perry Mason with his grandma. As a Clearfield High student, he read every John Grisham legal thriller he could find. He graduated from Westminster University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in adult education. He holds a Juris Doctor of Law from Texas A&M University School of Law.
Tim was admitted to the Utah State Bar and American Bar Association in 2007. Before joining Porter Law Tim worked for the State of Utah and Deloitte in a variety of legal roles. Tim has testified before the United States Congress, helped the country of Jordan draft laws through the US Agency for International Development, and has conducted legal training in Sri Lanka and Peru for the US State Department.
Tim is passionate about helping clients find a path through some of their most difficult challenges in life and towards solutions.

Elizabeth Cravens
Attorney at Law
Originally from Meridian, Idaho, Elizabeth ("Izzy") Cravens moved to Utah to pursue her education and build her legal career. She was inspired to attend law school with the goal of helping individuals navigate the legal system through compassionate and effective advocacy.
Izzy is drawn to family law because it allows her to guide clients through some of life’s most challenging transitions while helping them achieve a sense of stability, security, and fairness. She approaches each case with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to her clients’ well-being.
Outside of the office, Izzy enjoys paddle boarding with her sisters, spending time with family and friends, and crocheting.

Travis Peterson
Attorney at Law
Travis Peterson is a dedicated family law attorney at Porter Family Law, where he focuses on guiding clients through stressfuland contentious situations. Originally from Utah, Travis earned his Juris Doctorate from UNT Dallas College of Law in Spring2025. Before joining the firm, Travis gained valuable experience as an Associate Attorney at Smith Clinesmith LLP handling elderabuse and neglect litigation.
Travis's background also includes service in the Utah Army National Guard as a Fire Direction Control Specialist, as well as twoyears working as Legal Assistant at Wayment & Jones Law. With his diverse background, he is passionate about developingindividualized case strategies that prioritize his clients’ goals and well-being.
Outside the office, Travis values family and community involvement. He is married and has three children with one on the way.He has served as a CASA Volunteer advocating for children in Utah’s foster care system and completed a mission for TheChurch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints..
